What we found on this site

A review of this website's code shows the following.

• We do not currently set first-party cookies. The site does not write to the browser cookie store.
• We do use localStorage, a similar browser storage tool, to remember your language choice.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels.

Language preference

When you choose English or French, we save that choice in your browser so it stays the same as you move between pages and return later.

• Name: optml-lang
• Type: localStorage (not a cookie)
• Purpose: remember whether you selected English or French
• Duration: until you change the language or clear this site's data in your browser

Clearing cookies in your browser may not remove this preference. To delete it, clear site data for this website, or switch the language using the Fr / En control.

Third-party services

This website is hosted by Vercel and uses a small number of other third-party services. Those providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, and they may use cookies or similar tools under their own policies. Some of that processing may take place outside Canada.

• Vercel, which hosts this website. When you visit, Vercel may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and the pages requested, and may keep that information in server logs under its own policy.
• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), to display the site's typefaces. Google may receive your IP address and browser details when the fonts are requested. Google states that its Fonts CSS API does not use cookies.
• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), only if you send a message through the contact form. The form details are submitted to FormSubmit so they can be emailed to us. FormSubmit may process that information outside Canada, including in the United States, and may use cookies or similar technologies on its service.
• Outbound links, such as LinkedIn or Centech. We do not set cookies when those links are shown. If you follow a link, that other site may set its own cookies.

What we do not use

We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising networks, social-media pixels, or other tools meant to track you across sites. We do not show a cookie banner because we do not set non-essential first-party cookies.

Your choices

You can change the language at any time. You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking Google Fonts may change how the site looks. Blocking third-party requests may prevent the contact form from sending.
